Head Start Teacher Well-Being

Author: Mary Bales

The Well-Being at Work research team recently began a collaboration with Head Start in Indiana.  Our focus is similar to Bullough and colleagues, but with a focus on professional identify formation and maintenance processes that surround caring professionals.   Our results, we hope, will promote a greater understanding of what it means to flourish as an educator in Head Start. As we move towards a holistic grasp of the value of educators, Taylor Mali may say it best in his 2006 poem called, What Teachers Make.
